Close to hospitals and schools – affordable accommodations for patients, family members, students, and other visitors
A guesthouse with character
The former deaconess residence was designed by architect Per Grieg and was completed in time for the hospital’s opening in 1940. For many years, the building served as a home for retired deaconesses. It was later renamed Regine’s Guest House, after the first director, Regine Waage.
Between Haraldsplass and Haukeland
Both hospitals are just a few minutes away from the guesthouse. Haraldsplass Guesthouse is therefore the perfect choice whether you’re visiting someone, meeting someone, or working here for a short or extended period. At the same time, the area is just a few kilometers from downtown Bergen, and the hiking trails in the city’s mountains are right on your doorstep.
Easy transportation and parking
It’s easy to get to and from Haraldsplass Guesthouse, whether you’re driving or using public transportation. Buses and the light rail stop just 150 meters down the road, and there’s a parking garage right nearby. There’s also a store with extended hours within easy walking distance of the guesthouse.
