How to order
All bookings are made through our booking system, which is always up to date with available rooms.

24 hours before arrival.
48 hours prior to arrival for groups.
Check-in and check-out
Checking in at Haraldsplass gjestehus is easy.
Access to the room is granted via a code sent to your phone 24 hours before your stay.
Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: No later than 11:00 a.m.
Services and Facilities
All of our rooms have private bathrooms, mini-fridges, and electric kettles. Our guests also have access toa shared kitchen,living room, and laundry room.
Extra towels, toilet paper, and soap can be picked up at the front desk.Cleaning can be requested at the front desk the day before.
We also hold a communal prayer for those who wish to participate:
- Morning prayer in the Sister Home chapel Monday through Friday at 8:00 a.m.
- Every Wednesday, except in July and August, there is an open house at Søsterhjemmet, with a prayer service at 11:30 a.m., followed by coffee and waffles.
Public transportation
By bus
You can take the bus from Festplassen (lines 5 and 6) and from Exhibition (line 16E). All of these lines stop at the National Archives, which is a short walk from the guesthouse.
By the Bybanen from downtown Bergen
Take Line 2 from Festplassen directly to Haukeland Hospital stop (underground).
By the Bybanen from Bergen Airport
Take Line 1 from the airport to Kronstad.
Switch to Line 2 (toward Bergen city center) at Kronstad, and get off at Haukeland Hospital stop (underground), which is within walking distance of Haraldsplass.
By Airport Express from Bergen Airport
Take the Airport Express to downtown Bergen. From there, you can choose one of the two options mentioned above: bus or light rail.

Parking
Access to the parking facility is from Ulriksdal, about 50 meters after you pass the Guest House. Here you will find accessible parking spaces and charging stations for electric cars.SesamSesamis used as the parking system. The app requires only a one-time registration. You can also pay at a payment machine or on the SesamSesam website.

Gates and doors are kept closed from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
If you need to retrieve your car after 11:00 p.m., you must use the doorbell located by the side door of the garage. This is connected to a security guard who can open the door. The side door will then open, granting you access to the parking facility.
There is a sensor in the road surface that will open the gate automatically when the car drives up to the gate.

Parking rates effective January 1, 2026:
- 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. NOK 17 per 20-minute increment
- 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM NOK 17 per 30 minutes or part thereof
- 9:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. NOK 12 per hour or part thereof
Food nearby
There is a Rema 1000 store on the main road, 100 meters from the guesthouse. It is open from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day, but is closed on Sundays.
At Haraldsplass Hospital, you will also find a cafeteria, a pharmacy, and a convenience store. The convenience store is openMonday through Fridayfrom7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. andSaturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The cafeteria and coffee shopare located on the ground floor next to the hospital pharmacy and are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Here you can find hot lunches, a salad bar, sandwiches, and pastries.
The Narvesen kiosk is located just inside the main entrance to Haraldsplass Diakonale Hospital. The kiosk is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
